Child Friendly Space (CFS) is the informal program for children of slum workers and it encompasses different important aspects of well-being namely education, health, nutrition. The programme aims to pull out mass of construction worker’s children from labour work and to engage them in meaningful activities such as education. A proper outline of shaping personality and attaining good health is possible through the intake of highly nutritious food and allowing themselves to know, learn and take part in activities. Newly designed methods of education are created to arouse interest among children. Hygienic practices are practised by children. Children get ample scope to learn, play and throw themselves to a better world.
Volunteers & Interns both are welcome to help at CFS center.
7 centres are run on various construction sites across Ahmedabad, to provide education support to construction workers children. Basic education support is provided to the children in the classes.
