- Pilot is the person who drives the van loaded with soup, breads and supplies. Pilot goes out on a designated route in Berkeley and stops wherever he/she sees an unhoused individual. Pilot is also responsible for knowing the inventory of the supplies in the van including shirts, pants, jackets, blankets, socks etc. If a request for supplies comes up, the Co-Pilot is responsible to direct the individual to Pilot for providing details like size etc.
