- The Volunteer Program is aimed at people who wish to collaborate with the rainforest conservation projects. It is an incredible way to enjoy one of the most important natural destinations in Costa Rica and contribute to the conservation of this important region in the world. - The purpose of volunteering is to satisfy the needs that arise around environmental protection, scientific research or environmental education. - On the other hand, according to the required demands, the volunteering will eventually bring with it field work in the Río Nuevo Private Reserve or nearby places, in activities such as placement and monitoring of camera traps, insect sampling, cleaning of beaches, rivers and mangroves, among others. As well as, visit, know or work in the Insectopia Collection in assembling specimens, labeling and curating the collection.
- To be part of this volunteering, the person must be of legal age, Spanish or English language, have the physical ability to cross rivers and take long walks, basic domains of general Latin American culture, be able to carry out teamwork under supervision and have good relationships interpersonal.
